mC PWB30B molded Ceramics
durable biocompound
injection molding
general description
nature2need mC blends combine extreme performance and true sustainability with an easy processing. The grades are made of natural hydrated magnesium silicates and advanced minerals for an improved hardness and durability blended into a PP blend based host matrix system. All mC compunds are suitable for general purpose injection moulding applications on standard equipment and standard injection molds (designed for polyolefines like PP/PE). All mC blends have improved processing, mechanical and thermal properties compared to standard polyolefines.
The grades are naturally white but can be developed into any given Pantone color. Optionally, mc grades can be designed with flecks / speckles to give it a natural looking surface (EU Positive List compliant). The grades can be blended with any traditional color masterbatch during part manufacturing.
All mC grades are durable bio-compunds; the material is UV/AO stabilized.
nature2need r-mC blends are built with post-industrial recycled polyolefin matrix systems.
All mC grades can be delivered as a natural fiber blend, blended with agricultural residues or any 2nd/3rd generation biomass (e.g., bamboo, rice husk, coffee husk, straw, wood flour) for a natural/speckled look and feel.
Part wall-thickness shall be greater than 0.8 mm.
