Burning agricultural residues is common, especially in South-East Asia; reasons are high cost of incorporating, collecting, transporting, and processing crop residues. Labour shortages, the marketability of residues and the short time interval between harvest to harvest adds to the list.

Our Mottainai site in Zhejiang, China is the pilot plant for the region Asia Pacific. It has an installed capacity of 6.000 MT/annually with R&D capabilities. The entity manufactures and distributes durable bio-compounds and bio-polymer compounds. Main  residues processed are coffee and rice husk, bamboo carving residues and eggshells.

nature2world is actively looking for local manufacturing partners being interested to invest into a local Mottainai entity. nature2world identified sources of rice husk, recycled plastics as well as injection molders looking for local biomaterial compounds.
